IMPORTANT: 

  • FREE alerts are only available via EMAIL NOTIFICATION at this time
  • Your Rollcall Provider (School or Bus company) may choose to provide SMS alerts if they have an account set up to pay for the text messages
  • Pop Up/Push Notifications are planned for release in 2024


STEP 1


Select the Alerts tab from the Menu


Step 2


Use the Student name drop down to select a Student. Alerts are individually set for each student


Step 3 


Tap on the Alert choice for each Event Group and Alert Type. Note that only NONE or MAIL are available at this time. POP UPS are planned for release in 2024


Alert Types Explained:


Scan On - receive an email each time the student scans on to a transport in the event group (AM or PM)


Scan Off - receive an email each time the student scans on to a transport in the event group (AM or PM)


Exception - receive3 an email each time the student generates an exception of any of the following types:

  • No Card - Student was manually registered. Did not use their scan tag or card (if issued)
  • Wrong Stop - Student got on or off the transport at a different stop to the one booked
  • Off Stop - Student got on or off the transport at a location that is not known to be a stop on the bus route
  • Not Allocated - Student got on the transport without a booking
