Please find below our newest Release Notes for new features and enhancements to the RollCall system.

What’s New

  1. Stop Guardian: This feature allows for the monitoring of student scans and the geofences around bus stops. It can be used as a tool to check stop locations are accurate to the actual locations students are getting on/off of the bus. This feature can help schools have the most accurate location data for their Bus Routes, ensuring duty of care requirements can be met.


    Through this update their are several new features being implemented to enhance the functionality of this handy feature:

    • Ability to drag and drop stops to new locations on the map interface, allowing for easy adjustments of stop positions based on real-world requirements.

    • Ability to create new stops directly within the map screen by clicking on a desired location. This feature should mimic the "Add Stop" functionality present in the Smart Route feature, streamlining the process for administrators.

What’s Improved

  1. Stripe Payment Gateway: For schools with a stripe payment gateway, Restricted Keys can be set up which limit the permissions to your payment facility to only those that are necessary for the third-party processing to be successful. If you want this setup for your school, see the training link below, or contact out support team and we can assist you.

Stripe Payments - Using a Restricted API Key

  1. Improvements to Bus Changes functionality: For Schools with Bus Changes enabled in the Parent App, Parents will now be able to make Bus Changes up until the driver has logged into the Route. This will improve functionality, specifically for intercampus, shuttle and late Bus Routes.

  1. Notifications reliability: Improvements have been made to the overall reliability of notifications. If you have any concerns about your notification templates please contact us at support.
