Route Mapping
Purpose
The Route Mapping screen allows users to view, and manage transportation routes within the RollCall system. Users can view all active Routes live location and utilise mapping functions, such as the traffic layer, to ensure efficient transport operations.
Access
To access the Route Mapping:
- Select "Dashboards" on the main Nav Bar in the RollCall system.
- Click on the “Route Mapping” tab from the dashboard options.
Understanding the Interface
The Route Mapping screen is primarily made up of the live map showing the Routes and Stop locations. Along the top of the map there are options to select the AM Dashboard or PM Dashboard view. There is also the functionality to select to only see specific Event Groups or Routes, as well as add a Traffic Layer.
Available Functions
- Live Route Data: more information on understanding this function is available here
- View real-time route information, including location tracking and route deviations.

- A visualisation tool that displays routes on the interactive map, providing a clear view of the route’s path, stops, and key points.
- Traffic Layer: more information on understanding this function is available here
- Overlay real-time traffic data on the map to visualise traffic conditions and adjust routes accordingly for optimal performance.
