RollCall Release Notes – 27 February 2026
Please find below the latest features, enhancements, and fixes for the RollCall system.
New Features & Enhancements
Intelligent Report Classification & Scheduling
Report processing during peak hours has been redesigned to improve system performance while allowing smaller reports to run without interruption.
Previously, all reports were blocked during peak periods:
7:00–9:00 AM AEDT
3:00–5:00 PM AEDT
Reports are now assessed individually so only high-impact reports are queued.
How It Works
Low-impact reports
Smaller reports now run immediately, even during peak periods.
High-impact reports
Larger reports requested during peak hours are automatically queued.
These reports will run once the peak window ends:
9:01 AM AEDT
5:01 PM AEDT
If a report is queued:
An estimated wait time will be displayed
You will receive both:
An email notification
An in-app notification when the report is ready
RollCall Pay Dashboard
Schools using RollCall Pay now have access to a dedicated payment dashboard to monitor payment activity and revenue performance.
Dashboard Features
Revenue Overview
See key metrics at a glance including:
Total revenue
Number of transactions
Payment success rates
Revenue Trends
A 30-day chart displaying daily revenue trends.
Status Breakdown
Visual summary of payment statuses:
Successful
Pending
Failed
Cancelled
Refunded
Recent Transactions
A searchable table showing recent payments, including student and payer details.

Improvements
Bus Activity Screen Improvements
Transport activity is now easier to review and navigate.
More Detail at a Glance
Tooltips now display:
Bus capacity
Expected student counts for both original and updated bus/stop assignments
Quick Navigation
Clicking a bus or stop now opens the Transport screen in a new tab, taking you directly to the relevant route.
Clearer Timestamps
The column previously used for timestamps now displays as “Created At”, clarifying when the change was recorded rather than when it takes effect.
CSV Import Audit Trail Improvements
Tracking data changes is now easier.
When student records are updated using CSV Import, the admin who performed the import is now recorded in the Student Audit Logs.
Bug Fixes
The following issues have been resolved:
Parent App Notifications – Fixed an issue where some parents could not view their notification settings in the Notifications tab.
No Card Loading Charges – Fixed an issue where students scanned on during AM runs without a card were not being charged the No Card Loading fee.
GPS Location Accuracy – Improved handling of stale GPS data to ensure bus stop positions display accurately in the Parent App and Admin Console.
Parent Login – Fixed an issue where some users received the error “No school exists for this account” during login.
Messaging Hub – Fixed an issue where some messages were not being delivered to parents.
LMS Student-Parent Linking – Fixed an issue where linking students and parents via LMS did not create the expected alert configurations.
