The Student Transport Report provides detailed information about the transportation arrangements for students within a specified date range. This report includes data such as student information, bus routes, stops, and transportation patterns. It is essential for monitoring and managing the transportation services provided to students, ensuring their safety and timely arrival at school and home.

Report Type:

Key Information Provided:

  • Date of the report
  • Student ID (RC Id)
  • Student's first and last name
  • Student number
  • Student code
  • Grade
  • Campus name
  • AM bus route
  • AM bus stop
  • PM bus route
  • PM bus stop

How to Generate the Report/Filters:

Steps:

  1. Access your school's RollCall Admin Console.
  2. Select "Reports" from the navigation bar.
  3. Select "Student Transport Report" from the dropdown or the report icons.
  4. Apply relevant filters such as date range, student, grade, campus, and organisation.
  5. Click "Run Report."
  6. Use the on-screen report tool or export the report to PDF or Excel.

Filter Information:

  • From Date/To Date: Specify the date range for which you need the report. For this report, the date range is from 05/07/2024 to 05/07/2024.
  • Student: Select "ALL" to include all students or specify individual students.
  • Grade: Select "ALL" to include all grades or specify specific grades.
  • Campus: Select "ALL" to include all campuses or specify individual campuses.
  • Organisation: Select the organisation or school to which the report pertains. Ensures the data is relevant to your institution.

Understanding the Report:

Columns:

  • Date: The date of the report. Example: 05/07/2024.
  • RC Id: The unique identifier for the student in the RollCall system. Example: 125716.
  • First Name: The first name of the student. Example: Abdul.
  • Last Name: The last name of the student. Example: Khan.
  • Student Number: The unique number assigned to the student. Example: 8949.
  • Code: The student's code or identifier used in the system. Example: 1687741588.
  • Grade: The grade level of the student. Example: 7.
  • Campus: The name of the campus the student is associated with. Example: SNG - VJC.
  • AM Bus: The bus route for the morning trip. Example: AM - Bus 2 New Gisborne_2024.
  • AM Stop: The bus stop for the morning trip. Example: DL - Power Grid $2.00.
  • PM Bus: The bus route for the afternoon trip. Example: PM - Bus 3 Macedon_2024.
  • PM Stop: The bus stop for the afternoon trip. Example: DL - Crombie $3.00.

Key Metrics:

  • Bus Utilisation: Tracks the usage of buses for both AM and PM trips.
  • Stop Utilisation: Monitors the utilisation of each bus stop based on student assignments.
  • Student Participation: Ensures that students are assigned to the correct routes and stops.

  • Analyse Stop Utilisation: Use the data to identify underutilised or overutilised stops and make necessary adjustments.
