I’m a new parent – how do I get access?

Your school or bus company must first link you to your student.

Once you are linked:

  • Download or open the RollCall Parent App

  • Enter your email address

  • Follow the prompts to set up your account

If you are unsure whether you have been linked, please contact your school or bus company.


The app says I’m not linked or I don’t have access

If you see a message indicating that you are not linked, don’t have access, or no students are available, this usually means your parent account has not yet been linked to a student.


Please contact your school or bus company to:

  • Confirm your email address

  • Check that you are linked to the correct student(s)

RollCall Support is unable to link parents to students on behalf of schools.


Do I still need a welcome email to log in?

No. A welcome email may still be sent by schools, but it is not required to log in once you are linked.

Simply open the app and log in using your email address.


Do I still need the school code from my welcome email?

No. In the latest version of the RollCall Parent App, school codes are no longer required to log in.


If you received a welcome email that includes a school code:

  • You can ignore the school code

  • Log in using your email address


I forgot my password – how do I reset it?

If you already have a RollCall account:

  • Open the RollCall Parent App

  • Enter your email address

  • Select Forgot password

  • Follow the prompts to reset your password


Password resets are available once your account has been set up and linked.


My school uses Single Sign-On (SSO). What do I do?

If your school uses Single Sign-On (SSO):

  • Enter your email address in the Parent App

  • You will be automatically redirected to your school’s sign-in page if required

  • Log in using your usual school credentials


No additional setup is needed.


Do I need a separate account for each school?

No. Parents use one account per email address, even if they have children at multiple RollCall schools.
