Driver Device Installation on Biteable.
- the unit consists of three parts - the scanning device, the mount and the 12 volt plug
- place the suction cup on the windscreen and turn it to the locked position
- adjust the unit by turning the knob and moving as necessary and then tighten when in the correct position
- insert the 12 volt plug into the port and the USB cable into the 12 volt plug or into the inbuilt USB port
- place the unit in a position that both a driver can read the screen and a student can access the NFC Reader on the back of the device
- attach an NFC extension mount to the scanning device and place the extension reader in the designated position
NOTES:
- NFC Extenders are required if the device is not able to be mounted where it is accessible to both the driver and passengers
- The mount and device supplied are paired and may not be interchangeable with other devices supplied.
- When requesting a replacement device, please also provide details of the mount. There are two main types – Gripped (device slides into holder) and Quad Lock (device in cover with twist fit)
