Driver Device Daily Operation on Biteable.




  • to turn the device on press and hold the power button on the right hand side of the unit 
  • wait for the device to display the Rollcall logo tap the Rollcall logo  
  • log in by using the phone number and pin issued by your admin team. 
  • select a route from the list then tap OK to confirm OR to cancel the route selection press cancel 

 


[Change Route Selection] 

  • to change the route after it has been selected go to settings in the top left hand corner of the screen and select change route then select the desired route 

 


[Scanning students] 

  • when a student is registered on the bus their name turns blue  
  • when a student is tapped off their name turns gray 
  • when the final student is tapped off a prompt will appear asking if the route is complete  
  • select YES or NO 
  • if you select yes and you are not required to complete the Bus Guardian Check then a second prompt will appear asking if you want to log out 
  • select OK to log out 

 

[Bus Guardian] 

  • if a Bus Guardian board is fitted to your bus you will be required to remove the scanning device from its cradle using a pistol grip and proceed to the back of the bus checking that there are no students remaining on board the bus and if there are no remaining students 
  • scan the bus (driver) check tag to confirm that the bus has been checked and is empty of passengers 
  • a green (or blue) bus icon will appear at the top of the student manifest when the Check is completed 
  • you must now log out by selecting the menu using the 3 bars icon in the top left hand side of the screen and selecting log out
