STUDENT MANIFEST

The student Manifest displays the students on the route and their respective stops in blue above themOnly stops with students allocated are shown on the driver device. Student names are colour coded dependent on their status.

  • WHITE - Student is booked, but not yet logged (registered as On bus)
  • BLUE - Student is ON Bus
  • GREY - Student has been registered ON and is now OFF bus
  • PURPLE - (Optional feature) The student has been registered ON and is now OFF bus and additionally they are below the school nominated year level and may have special supervision requirements. E.g. Must be met by a guardian at their stop

BULK OFF

This feature gives the driver the option to bulk register students as OFF the bus at the end of their route.

Tap the "B" in the top right hand corner of the screen and select confirm to bulk off ALL passengers.

Access to Bulk Off is controlled by the School RollCall admin and is usually only turned on for AM routes, where all students get off at a single campus and Excursions where students all travel to one location. It is not recommended to allow Bulk Off on PM routes. Students should be registered as OFF bus at the location they depart the bus.

MANUALLY REGISTER A STUDENT

When a student is unable to present their NFC Tag or RFID Card the driver can use the Baggage tag icon to the left of their name to register them on or off the bus.

Tap the "tag" icon and confirm with "Yes" to manually register the student or "Cancel" if required. This is the same process for manually registering students ON and OFF the bus

(OPTIONAL) If a student's baggage tag icon is ORANGE, then this indicates the student has a note on their record with important information for the driver, such as a medical condition or parent contact details. Access to student notes is turned off by default. To turn this feature on, please contact support@rollcall.com.au

If the school admin team has granted access to student information it can be accessed by tapping the exclamation mark icon to the right of a student's name and then tapping student information.

ADD A NOT ALLOCATED STUDENT

Any student who is not allocated to the route can only be registered by tapping their RollCall Tag or RFID Student Card (Smartrider in WA). If the school admin has enabled "Not Allocated Warning" for the route, the driver will also receive  message on screen to confirm the Not Allocated student. Answering Yes will add the student to the passenger list as "No Stop Allocated". Answering No will not add the student and they should not be allowed to board the bus (unregistered).

The "Not Allocated Warning" is designed to allow the driver to manage their available seats and board allocated students, before allowing Not Allocated students to board the bus where there may be capacity issues.

BEHAVIOUR REPORT

If the school admin team has granted access to Behaviour notifications, it can be accessed by tapping the exclamation mark icon to the right of a student's name and then tapping Behaviour/No Card and the driver will need to enter their PIN code to confirm the report.

NOTE: This is not used to "No Card" AKA manually register a student. There are also no entry fields available for behaviour notes. Making a behaviour report alerts the school and parent that there was a behavioural issue with the student on the bus.
