Important Notice
Do not remove the SIM card from your RollCall device unless specifically instructed to do so by the RollCall Support Team.
The SIM card remains the property of RollCall Safety Solutions. Any unauthorized use of the SIM card in another mobile or SIM-enabled device is considered theft.
Loss or theft of the device or SIM card must be reported immediately by calling RollCall Support on 1300 821 116.
Process Overview
RollCall Support may ask you to remove the SIM Card from your RollCall device. This will usually be for one of the following reasons:
- To insert it into a replacement device
- To provide us with details of the SIM Card for our records or to help us verify service activation.
What You'll Need:
- SIM card ejector tool (usually included with your device) or a small paperclip.
- Flat surface
Steps to Remove or Replace a SIM Card
Power Off the Device
Turn off your device to prevent potential damage or data loss.
Place the Device on a Flat Surface (recommended)
Use a stable, flat surface to keep the device secure and maintain better control.
Locate the SIM Card Tray
Find the SIM card tray on the side of your device.
Look for a small rectangular outline with a pinhole next to it.
Insert the Ejector Tool
Insert the SIM ejector tool (or a straightened paperclip) into the pinhole.
Gently press until the tray pops out.
Remove the SIM Card Tray
Pull the tray out slowly and carefully.
Remove the SIM Card
Take the SIM card out of the tray.
Important: Handle the SIM card carefully and note its orientation to ensure correct reinstallation.
Reinsert the Tray
Place the SIM card (new or existing) into the tray.
Slide the tray back into the device until it is fully flush with the edge.
Power On the Device
Turn the device back on to resume use.
Rules and Constraints
Do not remove the RollCall SIM card or insert it into any other mobile device without written authorization from the RollCall Support Team.
If a RollCall Support member instructs you to remove a SIM card over the phone, you must:
Request that they provide written confirmation of the instruction, or
Send your own written summary of the instructions you received during the call to support@rollcall.com.au
