Displaying Stop Times - The Dynamic Stop Times setting

Modified on Thu, 13 Mar at 5:51 PM

The NEW new method of displaying Stop Times in RollCall is dynamic - i.e. The stop time displayed is specific to each route and based on the entry of Stop Times in the Route Settings.

This is a system wide change, so you'll need to ask us to turn on Dynamic Stop time display for your system.

To display Stop times dynamically
  1. Let us know that you want this feature switched on via email to support@rollcall.com.au
  2. Go to SETTINGS | ROUTES
  3. Select the  ACTIONS button next to the route
  4. Remove any reference to the Stop time from the Stop Name
  5. Select Stop Times tab
  6. Enter the Stop Times using 24 hr format for each Stop on that route
  7. Save Stop Times

The entered times will now display as appended to the Stop Name for each stop. With this method you're able to update the Stop Time whenever required and it will immediately display correctly for all system users.

We recommend using the dynamic stop time display feature and below are reference images for how the Stop times will appear in different parts of the RollCall system.

TRANSPORT SCREEN EXAMPLE

Stop Name entered: RGC Reachout

Stop Time entered: 15:25

DRIVER DEVICE EXAMPLE

Stop Nameentered: RGC - Tallai Rd General Store

Stop Time entered 15:40

Note that the stop time is shown in the same part of the stop name banner (far right) regardless of the length of the stop name. This makes it easy for the driver to monitor their scheduled arrival and departure times against the clock displayed at the bottom left of screen.
