Wonde Integration – Setup & Activation Guide

1. Overview

This guide outlines the process for activating the Wonde integration with RollCall.


The integration connects RollCall to your Student Information System (SIS) via Wonde and synchronises:

  • Student records

  • Parent/contact records

  • Student–parent relationships


Your SIS (via Wonde) remains the source of truth.


2. What We Need From You

To begin setup, we require:

  • Confirmation that your school uses Wonde

  • The name and email address of your Wonde Administrator


RollCall will manage the technical setup.


3. Setup Process

Step 1 – RollCall Requests Access via Wonde

Using your Wonde Administrator details, RollCall will:

  • Locate your school in the Wonde console

  • Submit a request to access your data


Step 2 – School Approves Access

Your Wonde Administrator will:

  • Receive a notification from Wonde

  • Log into the Wonde console

  • Review the requested permissions

  • Approve RollCall access


No further action is required from your school at this stage. If assistance is required, contact Wonde Support.


Step 3 – RollCall Configuration & Preview

Once access is approved, RollCall will:

  • Configure the Wonde connection

  • Apply appropriate parent/contact filtering rules

  • Generate a preview of the data

The preview allows us to review:

  • Student volumes

  • Parent/contact volumes

  • Records to be added

  • Records to be changed

  • Records to be made inactive


No live changes occur during preview.


If adjustments are required, we will update settings and regenerate the preview before activation.


Step 4 – Activation

Once preview results are confirmed:

  • The first live sync will run

  • Nightly synchronisation will be enabled

There is no downtime for RollCall users.


Activation is typically completed within a few business days once Wonde access is approved.


4. What to Expect During First Sync

During activation:

  • Students will align with active/inactive status in your SIS

  • Parent/contact relationships may update

  • Some contacts may be marked as Past Parent if not eligible


These changes reflect the data currently stored in your SIS via Wonde.


5. After Activation

The integration runs nightly.


Changes made in your SIS will appear in RollCall after the next overnight sync.
